About Me

Hey, I'm Michelle!

I'm glad you stopped by to see what my version of "The Simple Life" looks like.

I have an amazing husband, Adam, who is my hero. He can do absolutely anything he sets his mind to and is my biggest supporter. And he makes me laugh. A lot. We were married in 2007 and though we didn't have a clue what we were getting ourselves into, I'm so glad that He did. Our marriage has no hope without Jesus.

We have 2 sweet and spunky girls (ages 5 and 2) and a precious baby boy (8 months). They bring us so much joy and keep us incredibly busy. Our best parenting efforts amount to nothing without Jesus.

We are a homeschooling family with very little hope of accomplishing anything apart from Jesus.

We are becoming more conscious about how to take care of our bodies. God created us to have fully functioning bodies (temples) so we must take care of the gifts he has given us. We are slowly but surely trying to make smart decisions about what we are eating and in doing so are starting to raise our own food. God has given us the tools to good health, we just have to utilize them.

Notice a theme yet? That's right. We are totally and completely dependent on our Good Shepherd for our protection, guidance, parenting, education, health, everything!

This blog was created to bring God glory! I pray that each post does just that in some way. I know that not everyone who reads my words will agree with them, and that's ok. I ask that all comments be respectful in nature. And let's have some fun here!

To keep my blog up and running, you may see an occasional affiliate link which would allow me to make a small commission on any sales resulting from using my links. This does not affect the price in any way. Thanks for reading and supporting this blog. I can't wait to get to know you better!
