Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring

Now, don't get me wrong. I love Christmas and snow and warm fireplaces.

But.... there's something about Spring.

The Bible is chocked full of references to newness in Christ, new life, new creation.

When I see buds on a tree I can't help but feel this excitement deep down in my soul. The excitement of new life bursting forth!

And I can't think of new life bursting forth without thinking of my sweet Jesus. If there's anything to be excited about, it's Him. He makes us NEW! The old is passed away, the new has come. Praise God!

I thought I'd share a few pictures I took from this Winter with you in celebration of the changing seasons. We had FUN this Winter. In our new home. In the snow. But the excitement of Spring and new life has me filled with hope!

"So that, if any one is in Christ, that one is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."  -2 Corinthians 5:17

  1. Lovely pictures! The ones of the sunset (sunrise?) were breathtaking. I planted tulip bulbs last fall and they're starting to shoot up out of the ground. I am giddy. Spring does have its own special blessings.

  2. Hi Michelle! Love your 'to-do list' of playing in the snow. And I agree with Traci. The sunset photos were amazing, what colors!!
We didn't have much of a winter this year, but let me tell you, I'm okay with that! I'm ready for Spring, especially for the little plants and flowers coming up...renewal and rebirth. Love that!
