Reality Check Wednesday #1
In the land of social media it's often hard to remember that there are endless filters to pretty up our not always so pretty lives. This is my attempt at keeping it real, so to speak.
My life is far from perfect and Reality Check Wednesday will convey that message perfectly.
I hope this series of posts will inspire you to post your own "real life" stories in the comments below as a way of reminding each other that nobody has it all together all the time.
Often. More often than I'd like to admit, this is what my sink looks like when I go to bed. Sometimes the day has just been too long to even think about unloading and loading a dishwasher. And yes I know all the mom blogs will tell you that in order to have a productive day you need to start it with a clean sink. And they're probably right. But I know I'm not alone in this!
What reality check moment can you share with us today? Please leave your comment below.
I hate putting laundry together and away in the closet so I wash laundry on Sundays and leave it hanging on the drying rack all week until I need the space on the next Sunday LOL
ReplyDeleteGirl I hear you. I think I hate laundry worse than dishes! Thanks for sharing your reality check!
DeleteWhere do I begin? If my husband didn't take pity on me and wash the dishes, they would stay until the next day (and the next, and the next). I only do ironing when my husband and I have no more shirts. I stop telling people to take off their shoes in my house when the floors are too dirty to walk on with bare feet. There's plenty of reality over here! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHey Jennie, no judging from me! I get it! I don't iron either unless absolutely necessary! Thanks for sharing your reality check!
DeleteI love that you are being so transparent here. We need to be REAL, because there is no perfect person in this world and we all fall short in many ways. One thing that ALWAYS happens at my house is the toilet paper on top of the holder. I am totally guilty of being too lazy to put it on. I think the only time I do is when we are having people over. lol
ReplyDeleteHaha that's great, Chris! Thanks for sharing your reality check!
