Baby Registry Must-Haves

I am quickly approaching the birth of our 3rd little blessing! I don't know what happens to women in the last trimester but I could be as cool as a cucumber thinking I'm completely prepared and then about week 30 hits and I feel completely unprepared! I start to doubt my current selection of blankets and bibs and before you know it, I feel like I'm starting all over with nothing.

Which is not true, and irrational. I need to stop.

BUT, I do loooove baby/maternity/nursing items so I've asked some of you guys to help me come up with a list of your favorite items. Thank you for your input!! I have also added some of my favorites, and they are nicely listed here for you.
If you don't see your must-have favorites in this list, please comment below and share them with us. I'm sure I will be coming back to update this post in the future. Hope this is helpful to seasoned mommies AND mommies-to-be! I would love to have your feedback. Also, this post contains affiliate links, meaning these items will be linked to the Amazon website. If you happen to purchase something, I will earn a small commission but the price of your item will not be affected. And as always, these are the opinions of my readers and myself. We are not medical professionals and should not be trusted as such. Now, the fun part.........

1. Fisher-Price Rock 'N Play Sleeper - My readers and I could not sing Fisher-Price's praises enough for coming up with this gem. We all said the same thing, that this was the one thing that got our newborns to sleep in the beginning. I had to put this at #1 although the others are in no particular order. If you are expecting and don't have one of these, buy one now or BEG a family member to get one for you! You won't be sorry.

2. Medela Pump In Style - (From a reader) "Amazing! I used it almost every day for over a year and it's still going strong."

3. Boppy Pillow - (Recommended by several readers and myself because it is "so versatile"....can aid in positioning for nursing, to help prop baby up before he's able to sit independently, etc.)

4. Coconut Oil - (Recommended by several readers and myself to ease pain and discomfort from nursing.)

5. Nursing Tank - (From a reader) "For right after birth...super easy and stretchy."

6. Oil of Evening Primrose Capsules - (From a reader) "For getting you ready for labor." (Disclaimer: This is the opinion of a reader and should be researched extensively before trying anything yourself. We are not medical professionals, so please talk to your doctor or midwife before trying any type of supplement/medication.)

7. Amazon Kindle - (From a reader) "For those long night nursing sessions in the beginning." (I personally can't concentrate enough in the middle of the night to read very much, but I suppose this would work for many of you!)

8. Boba Wrap - This is my personal favorite wrap, though I've never tried a Moby (see below). I feel like they are pretty similar. You can also get a Boba in organic cotton. I got the grey color with my 2nd child and will be using it again with the 3rd. I love that neutral color so you can wear it with either gender, it goes with most of your outfits and daddies aren't afraid to be seen in public wearing it! (I had a hot pink one with my 1st is why I added that last part! Haha poor Adam.)

9. Moby Wrap - (From a reader) "The only way I could do anything was to wear him."

10. Lansinoh Disposable Nursing Pads - These are my personal favorite. They were always more comfortable for me than the washable brands I tried, but I am interested in trying the Bamboobies (see below) this time around.

11. Bamboobies Nursing Pads - (From a reader)

12. Video Baby Monitor - (From a reader) "I love to be able to open my eyes at night and look over to make sure everything is ok....peace of mind is amazing!"

13. Baltic Amber Teething Necklace - (From a reader) "It works!"

14. Mamaroo Baby Swing - (From a reader) "3 babies, 3 different swings and this one was by far the best. It was so soothing for him. Multiple speed/motion selections."

15. Johnson's Pink Soap & Lotion - (From a reader) "Because nothing smells better than a fresh clean baby that's been rubbed down in Johnson's pink lotion."

If you have some favorite baby items to add to this list, please leave them in the comments below and I will add them. Thank you!
